These tubes are grate. I found I can press whistle mix into them with a 1 ton arbor press and make little whistles to attach on my fountains. Go easy as you can burst the tubes. I did it by feel and have had no CATOS. Rich Wolter made the tooling for under $30.oo and it was perfect. He uses Pyrocreations 1/4" tubes for a guide for his 1/4" tools. You can wrap some reinforced packing tape around the tube to help for pressing if you want.NEVER HAND RAM WHISTLE MIX. PRESS ONLY. NO JOKE. I plan to try them on wheels etc, Have fun and be safe. great tubes
These little tubes are very useful. I have mostly used them for passfire tubes in 4" and 6" shells. They are also quite useful to make go-getters. Your imagination is the limit to the use for the inexpensive sturdy little tubes!

Makes perfect rockets if you glue in the plug, then once dry drill it out (rite in the center of the plug) with a dremle fitted with a 1/8th diamond bit. fuse it, fill it, cap it, shove it on a stick, and ya got a rocket!(of you fill it wrong and the fule grain has a gap it go's from rocket to fire cracker unexpectedly so watch out!) i use wood glue.
